Aina Iki Ranch

Welcome to Aina Iki Ranch, a pristine sanctuary nestled in the lava-surrounded land mass known as the Kapoho kipuka created by the 2018 Kilauea eruption on the Big Island of Hawaii. Located along one of Earth's 10 power vortices at 19.5 degree latitude, Aina Iki sits within a sacred triangle created by volcanic landmarks including Hale Kamahina, Kapoho Crater, and Cape Kumukahi, in the historically rich and agriculturally unique district of Puna.

Consisting of a 2 acre working farm-ranch dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and care of compromised farm and companion animals, Aina Iki provides a perfect classroom and model for small-scale agriculture. The Hawai’i Island imperative for sustainable economy, green technology and renewable resources sets a tropical stage for the school, yet the skills and wisdom gained by participants are applicable for all climates: rural, suburban or cosmopolitan settings.

The earth is changing. Humans are changing the way they relate to their Earth home. Time-honored skills and awareness for living closely in harmony with Gaia are essential for balancing Humanity with rapidly expanding technology. Skills developed in Nature's working classrooms are invaluable in creating and integrating Earth Consciousness and cooperative resourceful community essential for Self-Actualization. Ethical and healthy food production, natural resource conservation and regeneration, and fostering compassionate relationship with the bio-diverse populations with whom Humans share the planet is Aina Iki's mission.
